Liverpool FC maiden post

Being a self proclaimed Liverpool FC fan, I noticed that I haven’t post anything about Liverpool FC. Well, this is the maiden post.

Liverpool FC will be playing Chelsea FC in a little bit 2.5 hours time in a home game in Anfield. A win in this game will put Liverpool in a strong position to win the elusive Barclays Premier League for the first time in 24 years, having won the trophy 18 times during the old English league era. A win tonight would also eliminate Chelsea from winning the title with two games to go. Then, the only threat will be from the Noisy Neighbour, Manchester City, to snatch the title away from LFC. This is pulsating times for all LFC fans around the world.

I have been a LFC supporter since my childhood days, that’s over two and a half decade. Even my first name was named after the LFC legend, Kevin Keegan. You see, my pa and I are ardent Liverpool fans, that’s why the firstname, Keegan. Though in direct Chinese translation, “Keegan” may well mean “insane”, but what the heck, insane is as insane does. And Keegan grew up to become an erotica writer!

Next season, LFC will compete in the European Champions League, after a four years absence. I would love the chance to watch a CL game in Anfield for the time first albeit visiting Anfield for the first time. This visit was also elusive for me over an eight years period. I have long planned to go Anfield to become one of the “12th player” of Liverpool but time was not kind enough to me. First, there was the birth of my first son, then the second, then came a period of career change and the latter’s stabilization period. I gathered that next year would be the year, the year I visit the legendary Anfield before they eventually shift to a new stadium. It is Anfield that I wanted to visit and live the euphoria during matchday!

Now, it’s time for me to go prepare myself for the big game against Chealse FC. Match is starting in little over 2 hours. Dinner and glue myself in front of the TV set. 3 more points for LFC tonight. YNWA! Make us dream! 25th title! Go Gerrard and co.!

Why do men seek prostitution?

It just suddenly strike me to blog about this topic. Why do men go for prostitution?

Many women, spouse and girl friends wonder. In fact, it was not that sudden at all. I recalled reading the topic somewhere in a forum. A girlfriend, posted to the forum that her boyfriend goes for prostitution behind her back and she was confused and in turn seeking opinions of men why did men, particularly her boyfriend, go for prostitution. While the general forum members poked funs at her, it got me thinking too! If I were to seek prostitutes, why would I do it?

Well.. it’s a thrill. Speaking from my own conscious, it’s a THRILL! See, I always think that the most exciting part in seeking prostitutes is when you are about to come face to face with the girl prostitute, i.e. the meeting up process. It is the when and how to meet. Who is the girl, how would she looks like, the body, the assets of the girl, where we would be doing it, what is her place like. It is the curiosity of the male seeker that got us men thrilled! Once these questions are answered after seeing the girl and place, it’s down to the banging job. And believe me, it’s just another banging job, per se. But the excitement of NOT knowing who we would be banging in the next 30 odd minutes is the THRILL of we men seek… I think. I reckon this CURIOSITY lust could the main reason men seek illicit affairs, and seek out uncharted territories, and in this case, the wonderlands of female bodies.

There are other reasons and factors for men to seek prostitution or illicit affairs, ranging from family issues to work issues and stress, you name it, but I do think men generally want to seek and exchange sexual relations with multiple partners to quench their lusts and with no strings attached. So, prostitution may just provide that answer to men. Can’t they just go jerk it off or go watch some porns? Well, we can, but the THRILL just isn’t there.

Erotica sequel "The Shaman's Daughter: The Coconut Crusade"

I am considering writing a sequel to The Shaman's Daughter: An Asian Erotica Short Story.  What say you?

After writing the first free erotica, I passed the manuscript to a few friends of mine.  They read and wanted to read more. And more surprisingly, it was my female friends who were more critical in coming forward to share their thoughts. One of them told me that the sex scene was a bit cut-short compared to other erotica shorts that she had read. OK, maybe I should improve on that. And with some words of encouragement, my sister told be that The Shaman's Daughter was a good attempt at blending an erotic plot with humour. She encouraged me to write another piece. Come to think of it, I did have some more dirty jokes at the back of my mind, hmm.. So be it, a sequel it is.

I have not started penning anything as yet, but I gave a thinker on the book title. And quite like The Coconut Crusade since this sequel kinda revolve around coconuts. Erotic story and coconuts, what a combination?! Anyway, will start writing soon, and Fatimah, my lead character in first book, will still be the main character in this sequel. So, stay tuned, peeps!

My 1st Asian erotica book “A Date with Flings: An Asian husband erotic memoirs”

Kudos to myself (brag). I have completed and published my first erotica genre fiction book.

Writing this book was an arduous task as this is my first foray into fiction, and particularly erotic fiction. Like I’ve mentioned in my previous post, erotica genre is dominated by fellow female authors and I always think that female writers are more expressive in their work and they themselves know more about female sexual anatomy, hence easier to write in depth explicit scenes in erotica. I am trying my skills in delineating those feelings and expressions of female characters in my book, of course chipping in my own male sexual expressions.

This first erotica of mine is titled A Date with Flings: An Asian husband’s erotic memoirs. This fiction is about the steamy erotic memoirs of a loving Asian husband who shares his erotic sexcapades and misadventures, mostly in the city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Chapters are broken into stories of erotic encounters from massage parlours and strip club visits to racy steamy hotel sex with MILF and FUBU.

How do erotica writers get their inspirations to write? For me, I enjoy sex, but somehow deprive of it. So, I started to read and imagine. Then I started to write and concoct stories from my naughty imaginations. Sometimes, I watch… pornography, that is. Watch not for the actions, but for the settings and storylines and; to somehow acquire inspirations and trigger thoughts. But again, who am I kidding, most porn have minimal storylines, at least those that I have watched.

With erotica, readers get to imagine the settings, background and parameters set by the author. It is up to the author to bring the imaginative world to his/her readers. Readers get the share, experience and feel the thoughts of the author as he/she read. And to sometimes, go beyond the words of the author. Porn on the hand, restricts the imagination of the audiences.

Pornography, I must admit, enjoyed mostly by men. In my humble opinion, men love straight forward actions rather having to read, imagine and then fantasize. If you have it, and I need it, I’ll just take it, why all the trouble going round the bush. That’s my opinion on men. Women on the other hand, like to take things more slowly, to build up the mood, and I personally feel erotica stories fit the bill more than porn. So, it is about right when the numbers show that there are more female readers than male and more female erotica authors than male.

When I decided to write my first erotica piece, I felt that the odds are not with me – a demand market driven by female readers and matched by a supplying market dominated by female authors. So, where can I stand as the little guy? There must be something I can provide, I persisted. Perhaps, a niche market where female readers want something different, something from the perspective of a guy, and viola.. that’s me in the making, a male erotica author.
